Weekly Hell Yea - June 13th Edition
Last week, we had several members show up and leave a lot of sweat in the gym. When looking at the workouts and the performances, it only seems fair to call out everyone who participated in Friday's Team WOD!
Speaking from a personal experience, I know that I went into the workout with expectations that this would be a quick burner, where my partner (the one and only Mark Puican) and I would pick up some slack when the other was tired, and breeze through while giving each other 30 second breaks when possible.
That could not have been farther from the truth! Those of you who participated Friday know that your mental toughness, camaraderie and grip strength were all pushed to the max! There were instances when I know you may have wanted to drop the barbell, or take an extra 5 seconds on that box jump. But your partner wouldn't let you quit!
When partners were catching their breath, there was also another Petram member next to you, pushing you either through cheering or by stringing together 10 toes to bar when you only got 5. Either way, we are all there together, pushing each other to make a better version of ourselves.
Alone, I would not have been able to finish that workout in the time I did. But the Petram Family did what it does best, and gave me the motivation to push harder, move faster and lift heavier. Petram Family, give yourselves a huge HELL YEA for this past week!
