February Committed Club!

IN - TU - I - TION (noun): the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

To be honest, as we entered this new year, intuition was non-existent in my soul. 2019-2021 had enough curveballs for me that I think I reached a point where I didn’t want to understand what I was walking through, or why. Instead, I was searching (most days, not all) for any type of fast forward button. But my goodness - I’m so thankful I never found one.

I walked into 2022 with my word of the year: rearranged. You see, I thought to myself “The shuffling is complete; now we just enjoy the fruits of that change.” Where was my intuition when I needed it? I didn’t understand in that moment that personal rearrangement isn’t just a one-and-done type deal. But rather, it happens continuously. In grand ways, in small ways, in the quiet, or when everyone is looking. Personal rearrangement is our own cycle of continuous improvement. My lesson learned? I just keep becoming a better version of who I was meant to be. And while I certainly did not plan on being injured this year, here I stand - beautifully rearranged.

The Committed Club carries that same spirit. For many of us, when the Committed Club first started, 14 classes was daunting, right? Big, but attainable. We’ve had to rearrange mindsets, schedules, and even our fitness goals in order to make this monthly list a reality. And, in the process of doing that, I’ve gotten a front row seat to PR’s, smiles, and the perfect dose of surprise when we do the thing we think we cannot, when we push just a tad harder, when we lift just two pounds heavier, when we rebound from a setback.

So, here’s a shoutout to the folks that made our Committed Club in February:

Working out can be hard. But it doesn’t always have to be. If you have a goal, but need some accountability, reach out to any one of our members or a coach. We are here to support and encourage as you continuously improve. Proud of you, crew. As always, I’ll look for you at the gym!

Big Hugs,

Coach Kady
