Weekly HELL YEA! 5/30
We have had a ton of amazing moments this past week but I can think of none more appropriate than the effort Antonio put in on Thursdays workout (800 meters of running and sit ups). It wasn't the best score for the day, or even the second best, but it was significant for him.
For those that don't know Antonio was in the US Army when he suffered a battlefield injury to his legs. Doctors weren't sure if he was going to be able to walk again. With a lot of hard work (and some bones reinforced with titanium) he his the kick ass athlete that he is today. Antonio told coach Nick that Thursday was the farthest he has ran since his injury.
We couldn't be more proud to have members like Antonio and we are proud to honor him and other servicemen and women this Memorial Day. Antonio is truly Iron Man!
