Ready, Set, Mayhem! January 2025 CFP Challenge!

We are excited to introduce “monthly challenges” to the CFP calendar this year! Each month will present a new way to keep you engaged, motivated and having fun with your fitness here at CFP! You can expect things like monthly cardio targets or hitting 25 burpees a day for an entire month…

We’re jumping right in with January! January’s challenge focuses on building healthy and sustainable habits! You will accumulate points throughout the month and then the top 3 will earn prizes at the end of the month.

  1. Attend a class - 1 point: We want you to get to the gym consistently, with 14 classes (Committed Club) a month a great target for most. In January you will receive 1 point for each class you attend. This includes CrossFit, Yoga, Hyrox and TWF. Open gym goers may earn a point if they perform the entire WOD and enter a score in Wodify. We are going to work in some rest days as bonus points so stay tuned for that, the point being that our intention is not for you to attend 31 classes in January. Being committed means taking rest days too. We want repeatable and sustainable to be the overarching goal!

  2. Hit the intended stimulus - 1 point: Each workout is crafted with a specific stimulus in mind, heck our coaches even talk about it at the whiteboard (are you listening?). Giving out points for this in the challenge is a great way to re-focus and do your best to hit the stimulus during each workout. It is not expected that you will be perfect with this, we get it… there are some days where the plan just goes out the window. That being said our goal is for each athlete to hit the stimulus each session and this will help us collectively do that more often!

  3. Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water each day - 1 point. It’s safe to say most of us are not drinking enough water, so let’s prioritize this in January and get our body the hydration it needs.

  4. Post on Social Media - 1 point per week: Studies show that people who post workouts/progress are more likely to achieve their goals! Plus posting photos of your favorite gym and the rockstars in our community is a great way to recruit new friends (see #5). For this one we are only looking for 1 post a week (5 total points)… IG stories or FB stories do not count, make it a real deal post please. Photos at the gym with friends is what we’re looking for!

  5. Bring a Friend - 2 points per friend: Our Bring a Friend day in January is tentatively scheduled for 1/8. We are going to mix it up and offer it on a weekday in January. You will be able to bring a friend(s) to whatever class you normally go to.

  6. Share 2025 Goal on the Board at CFP - 5 points: we’re working on a spot at the gym but all we want you to do here is think about your 2025 goals and then share what you are comfortable sharing with the CFP community.

Members will keep track of their own scores and then submit their finally tally in Wodify at the end of the month. We created a few scorecard options below to help you play along. Throughout the month we will be posting on social media and looking for you to share your scores!

NEW IN 2025 - COMMITTED CLUB MONTHLY “THEMES”

This year we will feature unique CFP Committed Club stickers for each month of the year. A little twist on what we normally do, but a fun way to raise the bar in 2025.

January’s sticker is below!

The only requirement to earn your CC sticker is to hit 14 classes each month. You do not need to participate in the challenge above.
